Integration of a Client: How to Get the Client and the Team on the Same Page

Once Guestbooker has efficiently marketed themselves to a client and vetted the client to ensure they will be a valuable addition to their client network, a contract is signed. The next step is to have an introduction call. There will be a point of contact that knows the client best and will lead the call. Before the call, the POC will send the team an email with all of the client’s most important information including their background and unique selling points depending on for their area(s) of expertise. They give their client time to express their own career goals and what they want to get out of this relationship. The client also informs the team of their availability, location, and availability to travel- which is very important for the team to know when booking. The client explains their best times/ method of contact. They also share the client’s assistant’s number or any other way to get a hold of them with the understanding that they need to be responsive and available if they do not want to miss an opportunity.

Teamwork is one of Guestbookers largest strengths. They have 18 qualified bookers who help each other and are informed about what is going on in the company. If one person is out sick, the other bookers on the team are informed and can pick up their work. Having individual POCs allows for Guestbooker to have great customer service and strong relationships with their clients. They get to know them well and are very attentive to their goals and wishes for TV publicity and experience.
